The Spiritual Care Department is available to meet your spiritual needs while you are a patient at St. Martin's Hospital. The Spiritual Care Team consists of a priests who is board-certified chaplain and retired professionals. The team will be happy to respond to you and help you awaken your own spiritual strengths.

Although team members attempt to meet and greet each inpatient on admission, please do not hesitate to request a visit. Patients and families can access this service prior to admission or during or following hospitalization by calling the Spiritual Care Department at +233322097042

Chapel

The Catholic church, located in the town is open 24 hours a day to patients, families and staff of all denominations. Catholic Mass, available on Sundays, is celebrated in the chapel at 7: 30am times:

Sacraments

The Sacraments of Anointing of the Sick and Communion are offered to all Catholic patients.

Visitor Guidelines

Visitors are limited to two at a time and must be 14 years of age or older.

Children under 14 may visit parents or grandparents by appointment only

Visits should take place in the lounge or treatment room, if possible. Please see your nurse for details. Parents are discouraged from bringing small children to the hospital to visit because of the risk of exposure to infection.

Visitors may not bring food to patients who are on a special diet.

Visitors must abide by all staff instructions.

Visitors must be free of communicable diseases and should not have recently been exposed to infection.
