Except for emergency cases, patients are admitted to St. Martin's Hospital only on recommendation from their medical specialists from the Specialist Outpatient department. Once a date for admission is confirmed, patients are encouraged to visit the Hospital’s ward allocated and register themselves in the admission register book.

The staff at the information desk is happy to assist you in locating a patient or a visitor. If you need a patient’s room number or a map to find a particular area within the hospital, they can assist you.
Sending Patient Mail and Flowers
When sending a patient mail or flowers, please add the patient’s name to the hospital address. The mailroom will locate the patient’s room number from the hospital database.

Mail received after a patient’s discharge will be forwarded to the patient’s home.
You should bring along toiletries such as toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, hairbrush /comb and a pair of slippers.
For your personal comfort, you may also bring your own pyjamas to wear during your stay at the Hospital and a set of clothing to wear on the day of discharge.
